1. Model description of sand pump
Denotation
SB—Sand pump
F—Counter-clockwise rotation, viewed straight from the pump inlet. The outlet stands on the right side of the inlet perpendicular centerline.
Z—Clockwise rotation, viewed straight from the pump inlet. The outlet stands on the left side of the inlet perpendicular centerline.
J—Mechanical seal P—Belt-drive
C—American-Code Inlet/Outlet Flange(ASME B16.5,Class150)
The denotation of the pumps include another three digital codes, representing outlet diameter, inlet diameter, nominal vane diameter or supporting motor power, respectively.
Notes:
1) If rotation direction undesignated, SB6×8 pump runs clockwise by default, and counter-clockwise for pumps SB5×6 and SB4×5.
2) For pumps SB3×4 and SB2×3, no rotation indicated means counter-clockwise as its sole direction.
3) Unmarked inlet and/or outlet flanges are, by default, of metric measurements.
4) Un-coded transmission is understood as immediate coupling.
Codes or written explanation may be used in case requirements differ from those unmarked yet understood.
2. Features
The pump housing and vanes are precision-cast out of wear-resistant nodular iron.
The housing is thickened with streamlined flow passages, achieving lessresistance and a longer service life.
The vanes adopt wider flow passages, effectively lowering the load applied to theshaft and the bearings and ensuring their longer working hours.
The combined sealing, quality mechanical seal plus packing, prevents leakagesand reduces repair times.
Imported premium bearings ensure their smooth performance, resistance to hightemperature and a longer service life.
The shaft seals are lubricated by grease and the bearings, machine oil.The bearingcovers at either side of the bearings are fitted with grease nipples.Greasing of thebearings is optional.
Antilock mechanism is applied to vanes in case they shall rotate reversely anddamage the pump.
