DEGASSER

ALSMZCQ series fall into the category of centrifugal degasser. Due to the fact that the main motor starts ﬁrst, the vanes connected to the motor revolve at a high speed, forcing the mud to be sucked into the barrel through the feed pipe rather than from the outlet pipe.

2. Features

The vacuum pump plays dual roles by suctioning mud into the vacuum barrel and discharging the gas.

Water ring vacuum pump always works isothermally, securing safety for suctioning highly inﬂammable and explosive gases.

It eﬀectively removes gases by completely bursting the gaseous bubbles entrained in the mud, thanks to the high-speed jets through the rotor windows.

The main motor is mounted oﬀ the vacuum barrel, lowering the COG(center of gravity) of the unit.

He belt-drive design simpliﬁes the structure and ensures easy maintenance.

The water-gas separator ensures all-time unimpeded gas outgoing. Moreover, the water feeds the vacuum pump without extra water supply.

The suction pipe is inserted into mud tank and works as a high-powered agitator, provided that no gas-cut occurs.
